Nishin
S. Tambay MD is a specialist in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. He has done a fellowship in Sports Medicine and another
in
Interventional Spine & Pain Medicine. In
his practice he provides aggressive, non-surgical
care to clients with spine, hip, pelvic, knee and ankle injuries, as
well as
sports concussions. He utilizes a holistic approach towards achieving
the
desired medical outcomes using cutting edge medical services developed
through
years of clinical experiences, critical analysis and research supported
models.
These services include comprehensive orthopaedic assessment, functional
movement testing, core control evaluation, fluoroscope-guided
procedures such
as epidural, facet and sacroiliac injections and lumbar discograms,
acupuncture, manual medicine, nutritional counseling and yoga therapy.
He
provides sports medicine services to Major League
Baseball, National Football
League, Women’s Tennis
Association, Arena Football League,
and collegiate, high school and recreational
athletes. He is a Preferred Provider for the Toronto Blue
Jays,
the Tournament Physician for the Clearwater
Women’s Tennis Open
and the
Sports Medicine consultant to the Clearwater Chargers soccer club. He
lectures and teaches physicians, medical
students and physical therapists. Most recently, he participated as
faculty to
teach the Functional Movement Screen to the physiotherapists who
provide care
to all the English
